  1. What's new in this game
  2. The thing says, " you got the four armed bad guy. I have a bigger one to knock down. " The thing goes after the big robot and will try to smash it in the legs
  3. Narrator Post Caption: On the factory floor Doctor Octopus sees the Beetle go down Scene: Octavious moves closer to Captain America to be in range of his mechanical arms Doctor Octopus "Star Spangled Idiot, you will find I am not so easy to defeat as that poor sap Beetle!" Doc Ock reaches out with his mechanical arms to grab Captain America Grab Attack Marvel Die Crushing Grip Reaction Marvel Die OOC: This is a basic grab Melee attack that due to the Additional Limbs power gives him Edge on the attack against Cap's Melee defense. If the attack hits, Doc Ock is going to use his reaction to activate his Crushing Grip Power. If a hit then Cap will be grabbed from the initial attack and then spending 5 focus for Crushing Grip. Crushing Grip is a Melee attack against target’s Resilience defense. If it’s a success, the target takes regular damage. On a Fantastic success, the target takes double damage instead and is Pinned. Cap is grabbed but misses the Crush, as Cap's Resilience is a 13.
  4. Narrator Post Caption: Inside the Factory Scene: The Beetle re-engages his battle computer to allow him to see in his armor. The Beetle "Ah my computer is up and running what is this." as Captain America's shield comes to bear on him. OOC: Cap connects with a shield bash doing 16 points of damage knocking the Beetle out. Doc Ock is next and then the Thing can go.
  5. Cap quickly rises and sprints to where the beetle stands blinded. "Sorry..." mutters Cap as hestrikes the beetle in the side of his head with the shield, hoping to knock him unconcious. OOC: Shield bash to the defenseless villian
  6. Narrator Post Caption: Outside the Factory Scene: The Octo-Driod all webbed up falls to the ground and struggled to break free from its bonds. The Octo-Robot on the roof begin to track the Thing and Spider-Man. A Laser weapon emerges from its center mass and each fires on a hero. Laser Blast, Marvel Die (Thing) Laser Blast, Marvel Die (Spidey) OOC: The Thing is hit, but due to Sturdy 4, the damage is reduced down to 2 points. Spidey is missed. With Radio-Active man down Captain America is up next.
  7. The Amazing Spider-Man "Sorry, but Doc is one of mine. Cleaning up his messes is kind of my responsibility." Pete remarks as the Robot keeps going. "Besides, always wanted to try something. Saw it from a Movie once." he quips, then gets to work. Okay, he was just thinking of the Empire Strikes Back but it seemed worth a shot. He swings out in front of the robot, releases, and webs a hip to spend that momentum to go around. And around. Webbing forms a long that starts winding around the legs tighter and tighter. It's got more limbs, the other hand gives selective webbing hits to gum up more and more of them as he can. Giant Walking Robot? Meet the Pavement, hopefully. Title Woot, rolled real good.
  8. Sounds like your Empire Strkes back attack is a variation on either Webcasting: Power Set: Spider-Powers Prerequisites: None Action: Standard Duration: Instant Range: 10 spaces Effect: The character makes a ranged attack on an enemy. If the attack is a success, the web the enemy. On a Fantastic success, the enemy is also . Breaking free from webbing requires a Melee check (target number 20). Or Webgrabbing: Power Set: Spider-Powers Prerequisites: , Rank 2 Action: Standard Duration: Instant Range: 10 spaces Cost: 5 Focus Effect: The character makes a ranged attack on an enemy. If the attack is a success, the character the target with a web. On a Fantastic success, the target can also be . Breaking free from webbing requires a Melee check (target number 20).
  9. Thought I did post. Admittedly I don't know how to put it mechanically, but Spidey's going for Empire-Strikes-Back style attacks to tangle up limbs. [Probably will take more then one, granted.]
  10. Combat Trickery: The character is a tricky one! Power Set: None Prerequisites: Rank 2 Action: Reaction Trigger: The character makes an attack. Duration: Instant Cost: 5 Focus Effect: Once per battle, when the character is attacking targets of equal or higher rank, the character automatically rolls a 1 on their Marvel die, and that die cannot be affected by . If the character is attacking multiple targets, all the targets must be of equal or higher rank. Wise Cracker: The character irritates a foe with their sharp wit. Power Set: None Prerequisites: None Action: Reaction Trigger: The character succeeds in an attack on an enemy in , or an enemy in earshot fails an attack on them. Duration: Instant Effect: The character cracks a joke at the enemy’s expense. Make an Ego attack. On a success, it does regular Focus damage. On a Fantastic success, the damage is doubled, and the target is for one round.
  11. Very weird. Well pick a power and I can tell you what it does, but the list of powers is in this thread.
  12. Yep. Tried both logged in and not in case it was something weird. Might be a new game?
  13. Nope. A HYDRA adventure mentions Pete, but just directs to a link to buy the PHB.
  14. Says it's $50 for me. There does seem to be free characters but he's not one of them.
