It might be worthwhile in extending the montage for a day. We need to fix the ship. Sell/buy cargo. Rest/ heal. Decide where we are going next.

You'll have the option to stay another day if you want. Buying/selling cargo we'll do when you're ready to leave and this time won't be a part of the montage, but a separate thing you can all do. :)

Should you either purchase said chart or study it carefully and pass some more tests with flying colors and not purchase it, some of these locations will be marked on the map in the Atlas.

I fear we may have lost CraterShip (it has been over a month since his last visit to MW), but I will hold out hope for a little while longer, and GM-pilot him until then. It is the summer, after all, and usually activity lags a bit (I am guilty of that as much as anyone else!).

You likely won't get much more about the map or its acquisition from the tzelicrae, but it will ask for 2 x Piscine Flesh and a Pickled Swiveling Eye, but a successful haggle test (Outwit, Sway, or Flourish) will get the price down... and doing something nice for said tzelicrae (such as cooking a meal or offering something less tangible if you can think of it) may increase the odds of success, if you all decide to acquire said chart.

I have a project starting at the end of July and continuing through August that is going to take a lot of time and energy. My posting is likely to be spotty during those five weeks.

I am all for acquiring the chart. (Because I get the feeling that by returning the chart to the tzelicongress we will earn brownie points)

Inkspill is one of the locations where we can retrofit the Argos to submersible status.

Perhaps during that low posting window, we can retrofit the ship.

Retrofitting the ship would be the next step. :)

I'll give Tharr until this weekend to raise any objections to purchasing the chart, and then move forward to retrofitting the ship and acquiring new cargo and (potentially) passengers.

Tolliver and Park have the same Outwit (or 1), so if you decide to try to haggle the tzelicrae down it'll be Outwit + an Edge for 2 dice. If Tharr wants to leave it to Tolliver I'll roll this weekend for it.

At this point, I am assuming CraterShip shall not be returning, so I will GMPC him as an officer.

This leaves the Argos with an active crew of three players. Are you happy to continue with this number, or would you like me to put out an advertisement for another player or two? I think 4 or 5 is optimal, but I am happy to do whatever you three wish. :)

I'll get a post moving the Argos on to the next set of tasks tomorrow: dealing with Atus' new friend, deciding what to do about Tolliver (he has two options for ridding himself of the Bloom: Park's recipe after Park gets ingredients, or Atus' suggestion to try and tame it). As CraterShip is, alas, not here to decide, I'll be letting you three pick what choice Tolliver will make.

Then we will get on with last preparations before leaving, as I can assure you that the people of the Spire are not going to be happy with Speaker (Atus' new friend), even if they might not kill him outright. Do prepare your persuasion tests, though. As Tharr has the highest social skill (Outwit, at 1), it may fall to him to defend Atus' friend if he decides to. :P

@yxanthymir Umm would it be possible to edit your post to tell everyone that you think you have a cure for Tolliver? That is a pretty key piece of information in his decision.
