Combat that is Loud

So, do you guys have any suggestions at all that could go well with an idea I have?

And that idea is...

Some kind of system where the combat lets players get knocked about on the map.

Say, you beat melee by a certain amount and you can do something to the enemy. You could wound them (causing them to bleed and then needing to save overtime to get rid of the blood loss), or you could do something more creative - like making the damage trip the foe (the extent based on the damage that went through).

Okay well that's actually only one of my ideas.

I dunno if anyone will be able to see where I'm going with this, but oh well. May as well throw it out there.
