OW: No Surrender - Forum
Only War

I have set up and Only War game using the No Surrender adventure, with my own changes. If your interested come on over and join the 14th Xha'dum Assault Engineers and help re take a Star Fort!

Xha’dum Station in reality is made up of multiple stations in the Xha’dum system. These stations are all Void asteroid mining stations that mine for various metals. There are no planets in this system, however with the amount of asteroids and other floating rocks it is suspected that the system once had planets and moons – but were all destroyed in the distant past. Xha’dum has most of its political ties to the Adeptus Mechanicus even though it is not controlled by AdMec. This situation has caused numerous issues with the Adeptus Ministorum as the population does not follow the Imperial Creed but that of the Omnissiah. This has led to Xha’dum having a greater relationship with the Priests of Mars than what is normal for a non-Forge world.

The 14th Xha’dum Assault Engineers is an unusual Imperial Guard regiment in that most of it’s training is not for ground operations but for assaulting orbital stations, and other void born obstacles. They have greater than normal training in technology, security, and engineering as well as being able to operate behind enemy lines if needed. Unfortunately this regiment is smaller than a standard Imperial Guard regiment since they soldiers are all pulled and trained from the many stations in Xha’dum. It is not as easy for this regiment to get replacement troops.

Game Description:

It is the 41st Millennium . . .

For more than a hundred centuries, the Emperor has sat immobile
on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the master of mankind by
the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the might
of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing
invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is
the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand souls are
sacrificed every day, so that he may never truly die.

Yet in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal
vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the Daemon-infested miasma
of the warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit
by the Astronomicon, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor’s
will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted worlds.
Greatest amongst his soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the
Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades
in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary
defence forces, the ever-vigilant Inquisition and the Tech-Priests
of the Adeptus Mechanicus, to name but a few. But for all their
multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present
threat from aliens, heretics, mutants—and worse.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It
is to live in the cruellest and most bloody regime imaginable. These
are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and
science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned.
Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the
grim, dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the
stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter
of thirsting gods.

You are a Guardsman, tithed from your homeworld alongside countless others to wage the God-Emperor’s war across
the endless battlefields of the galaxy. It is your duty to drive back the horrors that threaten humanity from all sides.

Despite the overwhelming odds stacked against your squad, you stand together, bound by a code of brotherhood and
honour. You are the thin line that protects the Imperium from complete destruction. You are the Imperial Guard.

Probably the 17th. I might give longer depending on what the apps look like. Chances are it won’t be earlier than that, especially not with out 48 hours notice.
