What do you all think of having the flavor text for miracles, cleric spells, all include excerpts from in-universe scripture? The idea being that this was this is an excerpt from the story that inspired that particular miracle. A few examples are below. The excerpts are italicised, the rest is for context.
Category: Major*

The cleric steps towards their foes, condemning them for their transgressions. As their scathing speech rounds to a halt, they thrust their holy symbol either skyward or in a particular direction with the final line. The holy symbol glows and releases a wave of divine power, dealing heavy concussive damage and propelling enemies away from the caster as a major knockback effect. Opponents must make a fortitude save, DC 10 + 1/4 level + Abl or be knocked down and stunned for 1 round. If the save is successful, they take half damage before resistances. If held aloft, the blast is in an orb around the caster. If projected in a direction, it is a fan in that direction.
*5th level of 5, and strongest of them. The levels are, in ascending order: Minor, lesser, common, greater and major. For clerics of all stripes, these are gained at 1st, 5th, 9th, 13th and 17th levels.
"And the angel declared, 'God has given you a purpose. You exist to rule his chosen people, and instead you have chosen to let your kingdom splinter out of compassion for the heathen races. Your traitor's heart has laid the kingdom bare to war and disease, and the people reject the almighty for the leadership of men and false gods, and so the ground rumbles with wicked power. But bear witness in your final moments, for no wickedness may withstand the wrath of god .'" -Judgement 7:21-22, New Mastery Scripture.
*You get 2 actions per round by default. Movement being enabled means you can spend actions moving, as long as you spend one action each round on the spell, and the spell will still be cast once four actions are put into it. Most spells allow you to move while casting, but just remember you cast faster while holding still.

The cleric calls for the power to smite their foes, raising their holy symbol aloft and thrusting it towards their opponent. They may strike their holy symbol against their opponent, dealing the damage of an attack with the natural weapon holding their holy symbol and striking them directly with lightning for maximum power. Or, they may thrust it at a distant opponent for a directed arc of lightning that will strike down their foe, dealing less damage the farther it has to travel.
"The clouds gathered above the saint's head and darkened, as he stood fast against the greatest imp of the Adversary. He reached towards the sky, and lightning arced to his palm. With the fury of God, he struck his fist upon the head of the demon, and the smiting bolt left the burned body of the great goblin king** dead at his feet." -Reclaimers*** 3:09
*This range is pathetic. But then, while the range is pathetic, this spell can be contact-cast for greater effect and that's not something you can do with other spells.
**Goblins don't have kings. Then again they also aren't demons, but good luck telling the church that.
***This is a book of prophecies of humanity reclaiming their homeland, the "holy lands" of the Godwound Plains. Reclaimers predicts multiple attempts, before man rises to meet the almighty's standards and is allowed to strike down the adversary and reclaim the land God took from their forefathers as punishment for (insert here).

The cleric drops to their knees in prayer, holding their holy symbol to their heart. Their holy symbol glows with a warm radiance, which washes out from them in a wave of positive energy that heals the living and turns undead.
"Blessed god, heal us sinners." -Quadruple-abridged version of the sinner's prayer**.
*You cannot move while casting this spell. You have to stop moving and cast, and that means anybody who wants your healing must get in range of your spell or they aren't getting it, and any undead who want to avoid your wave of life energy must get out NOW or they will be hit.
**The sinner's prayer is to be said by those who have broken religious law as a matter of penance. The quadruple-abridged version is used as an exclamation to express disapproval.
The full version, used repeatedly as a form of penance, is as follows:
"Blessed god, bringer of life, our faith is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst man, and blessed is man amongst beasts and heathens. Holy god, blessed patron, heal us sinners, before we condemn ourselves to damnation. Amen."
