Major Storms throughout texas leave thousands without power

Major Storms throughout texas have left nearly 200,000 people without power, and many more without homes. While there's only been three confirmed tornadoes, winds as high s 95 mph have ripped across Texas, and destroyed enormous amounts of property.

I think what's weird is that there weren't very many tornadoes, but just lots of gusts of wind. It's pretty crazy right now, although there have been few confirmed deaths.

My thoughts go out to those affected. Sadly, can't do much more than that.

Related fact: the United States is the nation that experiences the most severe weather events each year in the world.

To paraphrase "That's not a storm; this is a storm."
