The Chantry is implementing reforms Thedas wide. Although very desperately needed there are those that resist that notion. The new Divine has helped you protect the reforms. Many Templars, Nobles, Mages and quite a few in the Chantry itself who won't lose a sliver of their power without kicking and screaming. The new Divine Justinia has survived 3 assassination attempts in a year. 2 Grand Clerics have been assassinated along with Grand Enchanter Melinda and 4 High Enchanters. no less than 12 Templar Knight Captains and 3 Seekers have died as well. This doesn't count numerous underlings that have been killed.

You are a strong backer of the reforms and have been selected to be a part of the Eyes of the Divine, an intelligence outfit connected to the Chantry. Gallia Tremere and is the daughter of the Herald Ellana Lavellan . Unlike her mother she is officially a City Elf not a Dalish as she has never lived outside a city. A pampered City Elf, but a City Elf nonetheless. She seen the oppression of her elven kindred and is enthusiastic as a result. Like her mother she is a mage and she sees the need of a balance of power between the Templars and the Mages. The lessons about the problems that happened due to the overpowering presence of mages in Tevinter made her wary of making her fellow mages too powerful as well as the Templars.

You are to fight against the chaos and reactionary forces of the various uprisings. You are to infiltrate, disrupt and report on various rebel groups. Assassinations may be necessary. One top member being assassinated may spare many lives. Your enemy is determined, fanatic and ruthless. Some of them murder elves, dwarves and mages. Some go after those they think are sympathetic to them.

Game Description:

It is 30 years after the events of Dragon Age:Inquisition. The new Divine Honoria sees the time of major reform has come. The Old Guard resent her reforms because power is more spread out. To help prevent various groups from resisting her reforms she created the Eyes of the Divine. It is a medium sized intelligence outfit. You are a part of that group which is headed by the daughter of the Herald Ellana Lavellan who is now 27 and is named Gallia Tremere. She got her position at such a young age not only due to her connections but her high intelligence and her great skill at magic. She thinks Thedas is greatly overdue for reform and is quite driven. You work directly for her as her top group. As such you must be Andrastean as the Chantry wouldn't want outsiders digging up dirt. You will go against Blood Mages, Templars, Nobles, Priests and demons processing one of the above. There are far from few commoners that object as well, if a smaller percentage.

You are PL 10 ,150 PP and can be of any race (human, elf , dwarf and even Qunari) with any non-human getting that as one of the character's complications. Social and investigation skills are must with stealth being handy as well. As far as powers go , make sure they fit the setting. For example elemental and healing spells are quite common, things like time manipulation and mind control are off limits. If you played Dragon Age you probably have a good idea, if not just ask. Even non-mages can have powers although more restricted. For example, Templars will have magic resistance type powers but can't fly.

I plan on making a mage

I am currently thinking a half-Dalish/ half-city elf, a former Keeper's First (or perhaps even a former Keeper) cast-out from their clan and turned Secret Agent of Fen'Harel(Solas). The character would, in part, be a plant within Divine Honoria'a Eyes. Sort of like how Solas himself was in Inquisition; generally helpful but possessing secret ulterior motives.

hmm... i personally don't see it as divided loyalties per se, more he's there to use the "Eyes of the Divine" to further he and Fen'Harel's long-term goals. Under normal circumstances the general short-term, mission specific goals will probably align. And on those occasions that they don't, the character's forced to decide weather to keep his cover and sacrifice a potential gain or to risk his cover and attempt to turn the mission towards his ends... sounds like a complication to me. more than anything though, he's just Solas's eyes and ears withing the group.

and while i'd much rather find a way to make the Fen'Harel agent concept work, if you still don't like it I have one other potential concept: a Tivinter Grey Warden who's aiding the Eyes. it's a little less fleshed out in my head (that's about as far as i've come on it), but it could also work

In most cases your going undercover and are already have to manage two separate goals , that would make it three. That would be then multiplied if more people used that idea which means I have a lot of conflicting goals to keep track of.

ah, i get it now. Yes i can see your point, that might get a little... hectic, a real recipe for disaster. Tivinter Grey Warden Mage it is (though I might change it to elf Grey Warden if I have trouble finding a decent human picture that isn't just a main character from the games lol)

It depends on what you mean by tanshumanist. You certainly aren't some kind of mutant or cyborg.
