Pocket Gnome
This tiny fey creature resembles a Gnome with an overly large head but is only two inches tall. They build their homes in extra dimensional spaces but can only establish the doorway to these spaces in the pockets of clothing worn by a living creature. If the article of clothing goes more than eight hours without being worn, the Gnome will relocate his house to another nearby occupied outfit. These spaces cannot be entered by anyone other than the Gnome that created it.
Pocket gnomes do not recognize larger creatures as anything other than scenery and cannot be communicated with directly, even with magic. They are immune to all mind affecting abilities. They do react to their environments, though. Pocket Gnomes like to decorate their front porches (your pocket) and any sort of trinket or decoration may suddenly appear. Objects placed in the pocket might be repaired if broken, altered for aesthetics or disposed of if the Gnome does not like it. Any food put in the pocket will disappear and be added to the gnome's larder. Likewise, they take care of their front yards (the worn clothing of the individual) and will repair holes, clean and freshen the outfit and even brighten or darken the colors according to the season.
Pocket Goblin
Similar to the Pocket Gnome, the Pocket Goblin also makes his home in an extradimensional warren whose doorway is in the interior of a pocket. They are bitter and mischievous creatures. Anything placed in the pocket will be vandalized, broken or relocated to someone else's pocket. Goblins also despise a clean yard and will cut small holes in the garment, rub foul smelling substances into its fabric and paint lewd messages in disappearing/reappearing ink.
Pocket Gnomes are fierce enemies of Pocket Goblins. If any pocket goblin makes a home near a gnome's home, the Gnome will make quick warfare on the goblin. These can lead to immense rivalries and long held grudges. In times of Gnomish war, entire assault teams might be seen climbing from the pockets of a sleeping adventurer and into another's pocket to wage war on the enemy. Both Pocket Gnomes and Pocket Goblins are incapable of harming a living creature other than other pocket creatures, but can leave unfortunate holes and burns in the clothing of their hosts. After a war, such holes and blemishes are quickly repaired during the reconstruction period.
