Chatahee grins, broadly his toothy smile contrasting against the dark of his beard.. "I was rather hoping I'd find something to justify kicking someone's door in. Someone was swinging weapons in here or getting dragged in a furious struggle to that door."

Chatahee points to the door on the west wall, just past the two broken lamps.

He saunters forward quietly, until he gets to that door, whereupon he places his ear against the door and listens, after first checking that the door is not hot.

Chatahee motions for the rest of the party to be silent for a minute, and after placing a hand on the door to make sure it is not hot, he listens carefully. From the other side of the door, he hears nothing - its quiet and still, but as everyone falls quiet, you can all hear the menacing shrieks and giggles of goblins all around you. To Jackson, Awarthannen, Zeno and Lurr it sounds as if the goblin-noise is carried by the vents and ducts throughout the building, but Chatahee thinks he can place the origin of the noise to whatever is behind the long northern wall of the corridor.

begin to dance at his beckoning. Swiftly they whirl, swirling into a whirlpool-like funnel, and emptying into Art's outstretched palm. As the glass neatly piles into his hand, he starts walking briskly towards the direction of the goblins, remarking to Chatahee, "We haven't the time for that, dear boy."

Art draws his longsword into his other hand as he moves down the hall. He peeks around the corner to glimpse the situation.

"Haven't seen Awar in a fight, or a cagefight. Just a cage.. Anyway, this should be good.".. remarks Chatahee, the very picture of being unconvinced.

"Shall we watch a 'self proclaimed' master at work?", he asks the others in high good humour.

Jack is in no mood for humor and his words as well as his actions reflect this equally. "There is no time to wait." He insists as he charges down toward the end of the hallway. "And certainly no place for idle chatter." He ads without any hint of joviality.

Although it strikes Jack as curious that Art would suggest staying close together even as he moves ahead Jack makes no comment. It is a testament to how concerned he is over what may be happening to anyone these Goblins may lord over.

With his new spear in one hand and the other encased in the spiked gauntlet he charges around the corner prepared for battle.

The unflappable, not to mention lethal, Chatahee responds with what Jack should know by now is his usual almost insolent nonchalance, which wasn't about to change just because Jack was offended by it. It was clear Chatahee thought Jack being offended was Jack's problem when out came..

"Whatever you say." in a laconic drawl, effortlessly declaring that idle chatter didn't change one thing.

"You do know legs, arms and lips move independently. Can't you do all three at the same time?"

Chatahee killed folk while laconically drawling.

It occurred to Chatahee that it might irritate Jack but then if it hadn't been for him, Awar would still be outside asking who could climb up to a window.

It hadn't seemed to occur to Jack that Awar was an unknown quantity in a fight. Sure he could produce lots of paper references that he could, in fact, fight. But you never really knew. Chatahee's opinion was that people should follow proven ability, not a verbose ego.

While all this is going on, both inside his head and the words spoken. Chatahee strides up to the door, apparently ready to kill stuff. It's rather difficult to tell with Chatahee though, since he's so relaxed about it.

Ignoring all the banter, Zeno had been lost with his thoughts about the Lonjiku family and the strange emptiness of their glassworks. Upon hearing that goblins had overtaken their facility, he pondered the glaring questions that the goblin's involvement meant for the family.

He left it simply at, "Something is very wrong here, and it's not just our lives in the balance. Let's find Ameiko as soon as possible." Obvious, he knew, but now was not exactly the time for lengthy discussion. He walks over to Awarthannen, readying his longspear as he does so, and waiting for Jack to make his move.

The wide corridor makes a turn to the north. It continues about 30ft northwards and ends in a pair huge reinforced wood and iron doors. There are two double doors right next to you, one leads to the south-west and the other to the north-east. Further down the corridor another double door leads east. The floor here is covered with shattered glass of all colors, making the walk here a bit difficult.

Chatahee is surprised at the decision to go right to the end of the corridor. Being situated between two large double doors was just begging for them to be surrounded. On the other hand, they had pretty much lucked out and gotten a ready made caltrop corridor, which would make a rear attack by goblins more complicated.

"Anyone thinking of using bows and the like get to the back. Melee addicts to the front. It's better to lure them out here than fight them in the room to our left or to the right. So we'll need a lone surprised victim to open one of these double doors and look frightened and surprised.. maybe yelling something like God help me.. that kind of thing." drawls Chatahee. "You see hostages that'll change things. Gonna have to charge in and free them, archers loosing arrows on any little freaks near them."
