While it may not, necessarily, be pertinent to the conversation, Solo's and Wippit's reaction does raise an eyebrow or two of mine. Why, exactly, do people actually assume that an AI would end up deciding to try to kill or overthrow us? Is it because they've been conditioned by decades of mindless Hollywood media? Is it because they are inherently paranoid toward anything that isn't them? I'm legitimately curious. |
