Game Description:

His Divine Majesty’s Most Holy Inquisition
A Warhammer 40k Inquisition game using my modified Fudge rules. No previous familiarity with Fudge is required. I’m recruiting 3 to 5 players. It will be a sandbox game, where you have been sent on an investigation, but how you approach that is entirely up to you. Currently I have four planets written up. Three are for single missions, the last a bigger multi-mission sandbox. The rules are still somewhat a work in progress, in particularly the Psyker abilities and miscellaneous Gear. You can suggest additional things and I will add them to the rules.

Posting Frequency: Players should post at least every second day. If someone is gone without a warning for 4 days, they might be replaced. The new player could take over the existing character or introduce a new one.

Combat: Roll20 will be used to host the tactical map.
To keep combat fast, all PC actions are executed simultaneously, followed by the NPCs.

Character background: A short description of where you are from and how you got involved with the Inquisition is enough. All of you served under Lord Inquisitor Rouken and now have been dispatched on independent missions. At least one character needs to be a newly appointed Inquisitor; the rest can be the same, or members of Inquisitorial retinue.

Warhammer 40k. Space fantasy, basically. The players would be Inquisitors, special agents with nigh-unlimited powers, tasked in hunting down heretics and traitors to the Imperiuym of Man.

Its a little more then space fantasy to be honest. Its a dystopian future where mankind onset by all sides by the xenos (alien) traitor and heretic, the Imperium of Man itself is a horrifyingly oppressive theocratic feudal system with a bureaucracy that is beyond inefficient and nightmarish.

The most holy orders of the Emperors Inquisition is one of the groups on top of the foodchain, theoretically unlimited power, and utterly unsupervised, within the borders and tasked with rooting out any and all things the individual inquisitors and their retinue deems to be a "threat".

All in all its amazing and whole while I'm rather fond of the FF system myself I'd love to give this a go.

I'm only casually familiar with Fate/Fudge, but love some grimdark

As long as you don't mind a bit of hand-holding for a newb, I'd love to put together a character for this!

I am a great 40K fan but have absolutely zero experience with the system other than reading the fate core pdf once. Would definitively be interested if you'll take me.

I'd love to join in on the fun if there's still space! Avid 40k fan, and I've tried it using the FATE system once before, although I admit briefly. Either way, i'm game.

Ask not how the Emperor may serve you - ask instead how you may serve the Emperor.

We had a fair number of people express interest, but only one character submission so far. If we could find at least two more, we could get going.

Character creation is really easy- go trough the skill list and choose one skill you are Good at, two Fair, three Average, four Mediocre and five Poor skills. Then 1 additional xp point for a Perk, and you are most of the way there.
