Interest Check: FF20

Hey - is this still happening? Been a while past a day or two.

Im certainly hoping that it is still planned to happen. Like I said, Id really love the opportunity to play with Aexnidaral. We really want to find a game that we can both participate in and enjoy together. Our love for Final Fantasy IX was something we bonded over a good bit when we first met. Would be great to see an FFd20 game.

What are you and Aexnidaral leaning towards playing, barring potential character creations that might alter builds??

I've skimmed the core and base classes, which is just hyping me up even more for a potential FF game.

I can't speak for him of course, but i'm thinking Sword Saint.

The game is indeed still happening. The campaign setting is taking a little longer to write up, but I want players to have a decent gazetteer they can look at when trying to get a sense for Ivalice's geography and history.

This seems interesting. Looking forward to trying out a Final Fantasy game.

I think I was trying to decide Gunblade Specialist with a subclass of Red Mage, or Gunblade Specialist and some kind of Paladin subjob, like a gunblade wielding Beatrix.

I have a few concepts in mind, depending on what the final character creation rules end up being, as well as the campaign setting and style of game(ie, mostly exploration/dungeon crawls(ish), lots of city/intrigue, a healthy mix of the two, etc)

Hmm, I haven't thought about Subjobs myself... I did want to try the Soldier archetype out though. A gunblade-wielding Beatrix sounds really cool though!
