Skull and Shackles

The shipping lanes of Golarion’s seas and oceans are filled with fat merchant vessels laden with trade goods both mundane and exotic, as well as the pirates and freebooters who prey on them. Under the banner of their Hurricane King, these buccaneers sally forth from that archipelago of lawless pirate ports and anchorages known as the Shackles, plundering the shipping of countless countries and trade consortiums, then vanishing back into the maze of islands and reefs they call home. The nations of the Inner Sea would like nothing more than to end the pirate menace once and for all, but the eternal hurricane known as the Eye of Abendego has thus far shielded the Free Captains of the Shackles from the threat of retaliation.

The Campaign RulesIMPORTANT NOTE: This is the Pathfinder Skull and Shackles Adventure Path, but it is being converted to second edition rules. It will kick off using Pathfinder Playtest rules as amended up to rule change 1.6.

An updated rule book can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder2...ebook_updated/ Many of the rule edits are in fly outs, so be sure to watch for them.

When second edition is formally released, we may adjust characters as needed to make them fit the rule set.

There will be some missing mechanics, but we can make it up as we go. Creative play will be rewarded and the prior ule set will be available for reference.

Your CharacterThe Skull and Shackles player's guide has some relevant information regarding ship combat, but we won't get into that for a while, so there is no rush to pick it up.

Your characters have been press ganged into working on a pirate ship. As the story continues, you will eventually become pirate captains and possibly even pirate lords. While your characters might not appreciate the method of recruitment, please create characters that will want to continue their pirate career with gusto, otherwise this will be a very short story.

There is a thread up with amended AP traits. Follow the character creation rules outlined in the 2e playtest book and select one AP trait.

This AP is surprisingly social. Well rounded characters will be much more fun to play and character selection will be made with this in mind.

Applications will be open until Nov 8th.

I've been wanting to play more of Pathfinder 2E, though for the rules and not the setting (about which I couldn't care either way). This sounds like fun. I might throw something together.

Applications will be open until Dec 8th. [Calendars are challenging]

November 8 was quite a while ago. Do you mean December 8 or November 28?

I have similar problems with time zones....
