Ravenskill 2
Ravenskill is a town on a Mesa, on the Continent of Ayrum, on the World of Vigridr.
The realm was the site of a vicious war among different types of Wizards. It raged over 200 years ago, but the scars are still fresh to some people. The land has recovered, to some degree, thanks to the diligence of Druids, but the people still remember the stories of the grandfathers and grandfather's grandfathers. About how they were ensorcelled to fight for the loathsome Mages of one side, forced to do battle against the other side. Goblinoids were charmed and forced to battle them, along with foul entities from the outside realms, and their own dead relatives brought back from the grave.
The setting uses the E-6 rules, for the most part. There are some changes. Spellcasters cannot cast spells in alternate forms. There are some changes to the Metamagic system, and there are NO spell slot spells above 3rd level. Arcane Spellcasters (except bards) are subject to suspicion and hatred from the common populace. Bards, Druids, and Rangers are all part of "class guilds" or organizations, which watch out for their members behaving in ways that would bring discredit to the organization (NOT alignment based).
No archivists, artificers, or other classes that get spells from other lists. Fighters and monks do not exist. They are replaced with U.A. Warriors (for NPCs or feat desiring fighter types) or Warblades for the fighters, and unarmed swordsages for the monks. The deity system is slightly different than the core, but close enough that one of the core gods is usually close to one of these, with a few more added in (for balance) and the racial gods removed.
This is the second party, hopefully starting up concurrently with the first (or close to it).
There are a few people who have already requested / been offered status in this game. They get first dibs.
