In the Shadows of Chi Town
Chicago is a very competitive city with a lot of potential rivals both mundane and supernatural, but the city's Uratha have plenty of good reasons for carving out a niche in the Windy City. First of all, as most Ithaeur are quick to point out, the city is quite rich in the spiritual sense; while most spirits found there may count as enemies, others can be cajoled, bullied, or bound into service as well. The reason for all the spirits is the supernatural history of the region, a history that dates back long before the oral recordings of man graced the woods surrounding the great lake. A history that if actually known would cause even the mightiest Rahu to involuntarily shiver in fear. It is for this reason perhaps above all else that those who have sworn the Oath of the Moon, find the city is in dire need of hunters in wolf form. Still the bottom line, about Chicago is that it has something to offer each and every tribe. Further packs serving nearly every agenda imaginable have been born and raised within the her Shadows or have come searching for something. And sometimes that something is not fully understood, until that day that they meet it face to face. An encounter that does not always go the way of the wolf, but always goes the way of the hunter. For in Shadows of Chi Town, the hunters sometimes discovered that they themselves are the hunted.
In the Shadows of Chi Town is a nWoD chronicle that follows the exploits and hardships of one such pack, a pack that has recently fallen upon drastic hardships. A pack that must now rebuild, grow strong, stand firm, or be swept away like so much of the trash that finds its ways into the gutters of the city.
