Game Description

Xanadu: The Search for EdenIt's 1918 and a man returns from the Congolese jungle with a tattered leather bound journal. Rife with sickness and near dead from exposure to the elements. He collapses at a river village, and mutters a single word before dieing, "Xanadu"

I year and a half later the journal finds it way into a certain mans hands, one Sir Luther Pinnard. A wealthy man of means, an adventurer of old and an amateur archaeologist. The journal is mostly unreadable expect for a section that displays hand drawn maps and a few hand written journal entries. One in particular peaks Sir Pinnard's interest.....

Quote:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea.
So twice five miles of fertile ground
With walls and towers were girdled round :
And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills,
Where blossomed many an incense-bearing tree ;
And here were forests ancient as the hills,
Enfolding sunny spots of greenery.
There is more, refrences to gray guardians of the entrance, snow white upright walking apes twice as large as a man, and more. Sir Pinnard has interest enough that he decides to fund a expedition, a monumental search for a long forgotten land of legend, the garden of eden known as Xanadu.
