This game is for Mage players who are from our old group and/or directly invited by our group.
1. All characters will awaken at the same time and location. All will then have 2 years from which they have been trained. Basically the story started about two years ago and your characters have been rapidly progressing in their training.
2. All character should have a tradition that they will learn with (this can be circumvented, but will need a VERY good story).
3. The story will start in Eastern Florida (Satellite Beach). But, to arrive at the right day/time can be your choice. We will be starting in a coffee house. You could be a student or a professional stopping in for a coffee. You could be a child with your parents. You could be a lazy bum who scraped together some money... whatever.
4. All characters will have ARETE 3. All will have Willpower 6 (but more could be purchased with sufficient back story).
5. All characters will have ONLY 6 dots in Magic. No extras will be allowed. Players are suggested to specialize in TWO spheres (please no more than three).
6. All characters have 10 freebies (not to be used in buying arete 3 or will power 6, as these are given).
7. All characters have Avatar 3 and Allies 1 (with a specific NPC) and access to a Node 1 (but it is shared amongst all characters).
8. All characters have 5 background points.
9. Flaws are limited to 5 points. Period. Every flaw must be cleared by me.
10. Rules and options are limited to the Mage the Ascension only. I don't have many of the other books. This means no Do (for example). I will reconsider if someone will get me other books.
11. No other character types permitted. No Vamps. No weres, etc.
12. No abilities over 4 dots. All 4 dots must have a background associated with it.
13. Please don't have wildly varying attributes (try to avoid a sheet full of 5 dots and 1 dots). A few outliers can make for a good character IMHO.
14. Please use the Excel spreadsheet that I am attaching, if possible. If not, please let me know.
15. Please don't twink.
