The Quevo Haffite menace has been defeated, and the land reverts to a semi-feudal society within the shell of the old republics; Dombrudurian rule is re-establish tenuously, and Vanikiirian rule is non-existent in the east. A group of adventurers, in search for Northton's King's kidnapped daughter, finds themselves in an extra-dimensional pickle; multiple possible dimensions are unfolding right before their very eyes! Will our heroes differentiate between their own reality and the many possibilities, or will this upside-down twist of time and space twist them to oblivion?
Stats: 4d6,r1v1, HP MAX every other level. Level 5 start. 2 minor, 1 medium magic item(s) with reasonable adventuring gear; high magic setting. Balanced roleplay, monsters, trap dungeons. This game is open to the Myth-weaver community, but created for now-distant RL friends.
This setting has been played in by consecutive groups for 6 years or so, and is constantly changing and influenced by character's world interactions. From the menu at the tavern in Northton to the location of the Nailo mountains, the characters determine their own interaction with world events, NPCs, factions, and culture. The world moves... with or without your character.
I will expect at minimum 1 post a week, with 3/4 participation advancing plot line no matter who posts. Failure to post for large chunks of plot result in characters falling in an out of 'plot holes', so don't worry too much about being absent. The only ramifications are loss of equipment, 1/3 XP gain, and loss of participation.
I will only ask players to leave who are rude and disrespectful OOC, or fail to maintain roleplay vs. reality in OOC and IC interactions.
