Legacy of the Soul
The Vandenreich have laid waste to much of Seireitei and have been able to slay the captain-commander in a fight that caused a vast amount of destruction. Due to unknown reasons the Vandenreich pulled back without reason when victory seemed to be in their grasps, though it is known that they will return, when that happens the fate of soul society rests on the blades of the shinigami that inhabit it.
