Game Description

Based On Roger Zelazny's "Nine Princes in Amber" series using a modified version of the Amber Diceless RPG rules. Some Inspiration derived from Lords of Gossamer and Shadow Diceless RPG.

Those unfamiliar with either the setting or the rules are welcome to apply. ADRPG is pretty easy to pick up and the setting is also not overwhelming to explain. However, the books are excellent reading and knowing more about how the game system functions is always helpful.

Basic Setting:
Amber is the center of the multiverse. Everything else, every other dimension is a reflection or shadow of the one true reality that is the kingdom of Amber. Oberon, The King of Amber is an immortal, and many believe he is an embodied force of nature. He had numerous wives and concubines and several children with most of them. He also vanished about two hundred years ago and those sons and daughters are considering which sibling they want seated on the throne.

Game Start for those who have read the books :
(If you have not read the books you're still starting here but it won't make a lot of sense until you ask some questions)

Oberon has been gone for almost two hundred and fifty years. The citizens of Amber are growing restless. The member nations of the Golden Circle are getting pushy. Rebma is making noises about declaring formal independence. Moiré (Queen of Rebma) has been acting with full autonomy for about fifty years anyways. Strange things have been sighted in Shadow and something malicious is lurking in the woods of Arden out by the pass to the north. The Unicorn was sighted on three nights in a row running up the stairs to Tir Na Nog'th.

A stranger has arrived and been validated as a true Son of Oberon. The Heirophant of the Unicorn Church has declared him the rightful heir to the Throne. As far as your siblings are saying, the Hierophant did not consult with any of them, but they could be lying. Are you going to let some pretender sit on the throne? Worse, are you going to let one of your brothers or sisters be the King instead of you?
