Game Description

Humanity has shed all of its differences and taken to the term: the Earthen race. After such a peace, the entrance into space was easily navigated. The dwindling resources humanity once feared were found to be quickly replenished. The economy that had plummeted time and time again finally stablized. The warring governments of previous political demarkations came to a final term of peace. There was a unified sense of goodness in the universe.

All is well, for a brief moment in history.
And yet--

The question of "are we alone?" has never stopped nagging the Earthen race. Though deeper space exploration through dimensional travel has since proved that, yes in fact, we are alone out there -- it has also shown strange signs of there having been life at some point. Everyone has their own theory. Aliens came and disappeared. We are the "aliens" in a further stage of evolution, the evdiences are misleading and we are the only sentient lifeforms like us to have ever existed. This question, however, has take a backseat in recent years.

Other, deeper and stronger, tensions have been slowly stirring. The most obvious is the conflict between the government and the corporations looking for more control over the Earth (since they were granted have that kind of control in space). The People's War, while granting peace, did not dispell this problem. In fact, it is widely known that high-end members of all the corporations look down on PG as a hassle and a nuisance.

Even more recently, it appears as though the everyday citizens has begun to feel this tension. All the news sources are clear: people are not happy. There have been explosions, fighting in the streets, petty vandalism. Security has been racheted up. A State of Emergency has been decalared in District 5 where a large collection of the wealthier corporate offices reside. Parades and spotlights line the streets. Images have been spread throughout the corporate and public channels. There is unrest breaking the surface.

Who will come out on top? Will the People's War repeat? Will a long-suspected "corporate war" come to violent fruition? Will resistance groups rise up and burn the Earth to the ground? Or, will the people ban together once and for all to create a whole new model?
