Legendaries Lost Academy
Welcome to the World of Pokemon! About 1/3 of the World’s Legendaries are presumed to be alive.
Set 20 years after the end of the events of Black 2 & White 2, you find yourselves in an uncertain world. The wilds grow untamed, Evil lurks in the shadow, and you are in the middle of all of it.
10 Years before this, a unbelievably strong trainer by the name of Philip Frescon rose through the ranks of the League, became Champion, and turned on the world. Calling himself the God-Hunter, he systematically hunted down and killed every Legendary he could. Brutually, and as public as possible. Speaking of the Legendaries as false gods, he even gained a small following. Most Legendaries fought back. Nearly all of them died. Some just ran, and are still missing.
This brutal campaign went on for months. These were the darkest days in Pokemon history. That is until a mystic with the ability to channel Arceus named Quan Roache stepped up. She gathered the remaining Legendaries willing to fight, and as many trainers as she could to take on Philip and his new God Hunter cult.
After a long fight, the side of good finally won out, but at great cost. Those Legendaries and trainers who weren’t killed during the battle were cut down or crippled beyond help when Philip finally went down. Some power came forth from his body as he died. Quan, who survived the blast, knew it was the power of another Legendary. Philip was ALSO a Godspeaker. To this day, nobody knows what legendary he was channeling. And that frightens everyone.
Fast forward to today. With a huge amount of the most powerful pokemon gone, the wild pokemon of the world have gotten braver. Certain areas with more peaceful pokemon are nearly the same as before, but most wilds are now dangerous to enter without proper training and powerful allies. Most civilians remain in towns and cities, and only venture out in heavily protected parties.
The last bastion of safe wilds comes from the small island nation of Reio. Containing a large city, surrounded by a peaceful and protected forest, it is the location of the Trainer Acadamy, which is the starting point for all trainers in the world to be trained on pokemon use. After they pass the Academy and earn the two Reio Badges, they are considered strong enough to leave on their own and travel to whatever nation they please to continue their training.
But things are now stirring the world. Quan Roache has been recruiting those who can connect with Legendaries or anyone willing to fight to keep the remaining ones alive. A group of scientists close to her have also been rumored trying to resurrect the Legendaries lost to the world. The criminal teams of the world are said to be taking advantage of the wary calm that seems to have taken over. And to the horror of all, there are select rumors saying that the God-Hunters are still alive.
This world is open to you trainers! What will you fight for? Fight for glory as a trainer? For the good of the world with Quan or the scientists? For money and power with one of the many criminal teams remaining in the world?
Or will you join together to recreate the Dark Age brought on by Philip Frescon and his unknown Legendary?
