Eyes of Destiny
Seemingly random people have an encounter with an unearthly light from the sky and are marked with a glittering gemstone in their forehead and powers beyond that of normal men. They then have to find their path in a world changed in the wake of their passing. They are drawn into power struggles, and become both pawn and chess player in the quest to find answers... and survive.
This is the story of three such people.
