Washed Ashore
Your escape had been made. Your skin and clothes were torn. The stinging sensation of salty water in your open wounds brought you to consciousness. Tangles of seaweed were all that bound you as you lay on the rocky beach. Hair plastered to your head and face, clothes plastered to your body, you leave wet footprints as you walk to shore. Not too far away, flickering lights, gay music, and peals of laughter raise your spirits. These feelings won’t last long as you learn something has taken your place and lives your life. Luckily this despair is also fleeting. How you’ll deal with the changes in your life is still up for debate.
You are in Santa Carla, California. Summers are softened by the ocean breeze; Winters are mild at best. This area is a land of perpetual Spring. The town is marked by a seaside fair that brings in a steady trickle of tourists, and those who would prey upon them. Those who choose to stay here generally enjoy a relaxed lifestyle. Most indulge in strolls on the beach, reveling in the terror of a haunted house, or enjoying cotton and shops on the pier before retiring back to quiet suburbs for the evening. They live life oblivious to the terrors which walk among them.
Character creation: This is a Changeling: The Lost game and standard character creation applies. You've been back in the ‘real world’ for anywhere between a few months to a year. Any source material from outside the main book must have ST approval. 4-5 characters will be accepted.
