Game Description

In an alternate Earth setting, the known world is ruled over by the various individuals who managed to climb to the peaks of power - And due to them being very different, no doubt it was a very short time until political tensions broke out.

You play a denzien of this world; Whether you're just trying to make your living, your fortune or your purpose in life fulfilled, you will be given the option to make your impact on the world around you as you see fit, provided you're successful in your endeavors.

Overview of factions
-----------------------
Lord Voeth
Though his ascension to his current place of power is suspect due to the mysterious disappearance of his father before him, Voeth in his few years in control and with his lack of years has proven to be a suitable leader. People from his land tell tales of his systematic operation of the land, from a well maintained taxation system to a stable economy and what some would call "unmatched defense" of his territories.
In conflict he has been known to be an incredible tactical force; He takes land and accomplishes military campaigns with discriminating precision, like his father before him.

Lord Flavius
While on a global scale his empire is considered to be 'the wealthiest' to some, tales from his land include horrid accounts of peasant life and soul-crushing poverty as much as they do lavish parties and luxuries.
Lord Flavius himself has been dubbed by some the "Merchant Emperor". In conflict, he has shown a knack for simply buying the land out from underneath his foes if he doesn't trade his way to a more comfortable position.

Empress Xory
Ruler of the eastern provinces, this woman of Asian descent is renown for her beauty; But that's more often than not accompanied by her reputation for being a poisonous, manipulative serpent. Stories from her land often include the complicated legal circumstances under which most denziens of her land live, the extreme attention paid to every day affairs by authority figures without a proportional amount of actual enforcement of the law, and sometimes even vague accounts of Xory's possible mental instability.

Lord De La Rosa
His land is a continent seperated from the central land mass of the known world by an expanse of ocean; This may attribute to the way he currently runs his society. While accounts from his land tell that he is a ruler of unmatched benevolence who puts the people before himself in all affairs, when it became apparent to him that global politics were about to get unstable, he closed the borders to his territory outright - Travellers telling tales of his land have become scarce because no one is allowed to leave, let alone enter.
There is also the occasional suggestion that his extreme humanitarianism might be overcompensating for something going on behind closed doors.

Lord Bluemane
The only known Dwarven ruler, this man's family name comes from the fact that, even for dwarves who have a substantially longer lifespan than humans, members of his bloodline have a history for living for awe-inspiring lengths of time, referring to how the pitch black hair that has been in every generation of his family eventually fades to blue.
While he is said to be slightly xenophobic, his land has been prosperous due to his tendency in political affairs to keep to his own - He makes sure no one will bother him by bolstering defenses when it's necessary and not picking fights, instead spending his efforts developing the land and people he already has. Tales from his land often include the widespread integration of Dwarven and Gnomish inventions to every day life.

Racial overview

Elves live in tribes all over the known world, though of course they generally live in areas that haven't been claimed by a ruler (but this doesn't mean some of them haven't announced their presence to be included on maps and in the world political stage). Some tribes have shown to be nomadic in nature.

Orcs are incredibly rare in society; They are thought to be practically extinct and the only rumors of their origins and fate have been mostly that they are a species of inherit evil, and that their natural affinity for war comes from being bound by destiny to destroy all good things.

Dwarven society has dwindled due to the uprise of humans to positions of power through whatever means it has become widespread - They are known to inhabit subterranian areas and mountain ranges in colonies with actual monarchs, though most 'civilized' people don't give their kings much regard as they aren't acknowledged as kings by any lord.

Gnomes are seen as an evolutionary offshoot of dwarves; Legend has it they were once the same race, but the ancient gods that are thought to have been worshiped in the earliest traceable days of their culture are said to have been a bickering couple - The husband, described as physically similar to a Dwarven male, insisted that the best way to live was to work hard and keep to yourself. The wife, described as a Gnome, disagreed in that she thought the best way to live was to venture out into unexplored territory, relying on wits to keep you safe. The myth says that they made a bet to prove which ideal was better, and so the races were split.
