Alpha Squad: Retaliation
There is another world than the one you know. Hidden throughout history is the world in the shadows. The basis for legends and myths. This world of magic and monsters kept itself secluded and disguised not risking detection from the world at large. And that is likely how things would have remained had some faction of that group not become discontent with hiding from world.
The Brotherhood of Caim issued demands privately and through a hijacking of broadcast stations. They demanded that control of the government be given over into their more capable hands . If their demands were not met the World would witness their wrath. As anyone would expect the government didn't change hands and that was thought to be the end of the matter. All this was changed when a Pillar of fire a mile across erupted in Downtown Chicago.
Now there is a rush to respond to these new threats. Everything that had previously been dismissed has become a possibility again. Previous mysterious cases were reexamined in this new light. Many suspect that the brotherhood were conventional terrorists using some new form of weapon but there is enough dissent hat the Black Division was formed and there was a manhunt for any individuals that had experience with the World of shadows. As the members were gathered the first team, Alpha squad was formed.
