You are fugitives from the Promethean Research Institute of California (PRIC), a government-contracted mental testing facility in the guise of a psychiatric medication research facility. who have finally escaped after years of testing, experimentation and training as black ops pys-soldiers. Fed up with the government's abuses you seek to use their training against them and attempt to assimilate into normal Night City slum life.The intruders swiftly penetrated into the inner lab, destroying the control center and releasing experiments XK004290 through XK004299. With a quick injection of adrenaline the XK's were on their feet and began to flee, but not before stopping for their equipment. This was the guards chance, they descended upon the delayed escapees with brutal efficiency. "PRICs! Grab the 'quip and go, go, GO!" The escapees panicked, but managed to slip out just in time, except XK004290 who blocked the stream of bullets from the PRIC guards. Two more were killed in the escape, XK004299 and XK004295. The rebels and the escapees fled into the Night. They might have escaped for now, but PRICs are brutal and unforgiving, they will stop at nothing to retrieve their propriety.
