Swords and Swordsery
Welcome to Ghalenna, a world of swords, more swords, other weapons, and finally, sorcery. Much has changed in the lands of the civilized peoples and much was lost to the demonic which scourged humanity and it's allies almost to extinction. Some are picking up the pieces and rebuilding brick by brick, while others are picking up the old jewels lying around demon-infested ruins and selling them for profit. You are probably largely the latter. Shrewd cunning and skill-at-arms are the ingredients of a freeman's survival in the cold, cruel cradles of civilization and wilderness alike, and there is seldom time for the trappings of a philosopher's morality, fancies of the privileged and wealthy. Perhaps that was the far off goal, the final coast to sail to, but...it wasn't today, that was for sure.
