In the borough of the Bronx, New York City, there is a little club off a back-alley - the kind of club that one only finds out about by word of mouth. It's a dark, smoky relic of a bygone age that somehow manages to give progress hell. This bar sees all kinds: sinners and saints, monsters and heroes, mundane and magical. They all come for something different but end up staying for the tall dame with a voice that moves even the most jagged of souls.
Talent like that doesn't go unnoticed for long. A host of characters running the gamut from sincere to sinister swirl around this budding young artist, all jockeying to be the ones to possess her. Tempers will flare and passions soar in this old city bar: will tragedy cut down the most promising voice of a generation or will a star rise?
Bad Breaks is a story and role-playing experience set within the Dresden-verse and utilizing the Dresden Files Role-playing Game system. Players will take on the role of one the denizens that frequents this club out-of-time as a tale of desire, redemption, and untapped potential unfolds. This is a Chest Deep power-level game.
