Game Description

Hello Hardy Adventurers. I am recruiting for my latest game; a blend of Classic D&D and the very versatile Mini Six rules that were developed from OpenD6 the successor to the venerable Star Wars D6 and Ghost Busters by West End Games.

Never played Mini Six not to worry there are only about a dozen pages of rules to read plus a few more in my house rules document. This game is very rules light and narrative based.

For the setting I have chosen the classic B5 Horror on the Hill.

The end of the road. A lonely fort stands on the banks of a mighty river. It is here the hardy band of adventurers gather to plan their conquest of The Hill, the hulkinq mass that looms over the last human settlement.

The Hill is filled with monsters, they say, and an evil witch makes her home there. Still no visitor to The Hill has ever returned to prove the rumors true or false. The thrill of discovery is too great to pass up and only the river standings in the way. The adventurers' boat is waiting!

This game will use the rules lite Mini Six rules by Antipaladin Games plus my own fantasy house rules to emulate a Classic D&D feel, while still giving players control to build the characters they want. We will be going through the Classic D&D Module B5 Horror on the Hill.

I have used the Mini Six system for several games but this will be my first time attempting to use it for what is primarily a dungeon crawl. With this in mind there may be tweaks to the system.

The game should be a good mix of Role Play and Action! There are several colorful NPCs to interact with and I strongly encourage players to communicate and have their characters work together as a team.
