Game Description

This will be a purely text based adventure, with GM and player interaction being emphasized. It will cover most genres of play, including but not limited to: adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and steampunk (the last one being optional, but the simple fact that the option exists...)

You will use dice rolls, and you will use modifiers, which are conditional.

The difference in this is that you will not have a "Character sheet." You will not have ability scores. You will not have skills.

You will have your character as you discover them, and you will have to use the resources described in the game and in your own mind in order to survive. This is for explicity roleplaying based gaming - there will be combat, there will be dice, and there will be checks, but there is no required record-keeping as you know it.

That being said, I've played a very similar type of game IRL and the party said it was the most fun they'd had with a tabletop game in years - I don't know if that matters to you, but it oughta count for something!

If you're interested, simply post interest here and describe what type of character you enjoy playing. This campaign takes place in modern-day Washington, USA (the state), and will begin in a unique way that will be revealed later on. Describe your ideal character - what they are good at, what experiences they've had, what skills they've accrued - then, describe their fallacies.

Keep it grounded in fact as much as you can, and then embellish only the tiniest amount.
