Game Description

The year is 2015. The world is in the midsts of a technological age, where electronics and computers of all kinds are springing to life in every corner of the planet. Humans thrive and dominate the world with their amazing ability to invent, progress, and adapt. Though no one has adapted such powers as those of the popular movie super heroes the X-men or the Avengers. Most people dream of being super, but none are.

Then everything changes in the span of about twenty four hours. Green and blue lights come crashing to the Earth from space, blinding those at night and surprising those during the day. No one was given any warning. No agency was able to detect the strange entities traveling towards our planet. Not NASA and not CNSA, not Roscosmos nor DLR. Everyone was caught unaware and unprepared.

Within minutes of touching down the lights could be seen as some form of ships, obviously alien in nature. The large spaceships take about ten minutes to land from the time they enter the atmosphere to the time they touch down. About twenty minutes after the ships touch down people begin disappearing. The disappearances seem to be limited to about a forty mile radius around each ship. In total, it seems that about two hundred ships have touched down and spaced all around the world.

You are one of the people that seem to have been teleported from your normal life to the belly of one such ship near you. Around you there are about many other people. After people stop popping in, you get a rough headcount of about forty people, including yourself. Some are yelling and crying out for loved ones, some are huddled against the walls of the large white room in hysterics, some are milling about quietly, and a few are curiously looking around.

Suddenly, a door opens in a far wall and a being of pure green light steps through. The creature is about nine feet tall and vaguely human shaped. But everything else is different about the creature. Without a sound it reaches out and grabs the arm of the closest person. The woman's screams can be heard for a few minutes as the creature drags her way, but then everything is silent. Everyone in the room has stopped making sounds, as if they're afraid to call attention to themselves. After about twenty minutes the alien returns and takes another person. This continues steadily until finally it is your turn. The alien's hand wraps around your wrist. It's cool skin feels like the static from a balloon against your skin. Then it is dragging you off down a white hallway.
