Invictus
This game is using Vampire:The Requiem rules. The game setting is Chicago, Ill in the New World of Darkness. You are all members of Invictus and have 135 XP. You can be of any clan and most bloodlines. I may reject some of the bloodlines as not fitting. As movers and shakers of your city you are rich and powerful. You need a minimum of 4 dots in Resources, a minimum of 3 dots in Status in one group among mortals , and another 3 dots but no more than 4 status in Invictus itself. You are all sharing a 5 dot mansion for free and the last dot for each requirement is free. In other words you need only pay for 3 dots in Resources and Status in Invictus because the 4th is free. Social skills are at a premium.
There are some rule changes
1) Sunlight merely drops all your characteristics by 1. In theory a vampire who drops to zero in sunlight goes in topor until sunset not that is going to effect you. Don't worry this is NOT Twilight. I just think vampires who can't go around in the daytime have various inconsistency problems.
2) Edged Weapons do 1 1/2 times normal damage to vampires.
3) Vampires are the most social of all undead, even more social than humans. If they don't socialize with another vampire for a week he gets a derangement and he will get 1 derangement a week until he does. Once he contacts another vampire one derangement goes away and one will go away for each 6 hours he spends with another vampire.
4) Despite this vampires are lone hunters. When on the hunt they lose 1 to one of their characteristics for each vampire within 500 feet.
5) You start out at humanity 5 with one derangement. You can gain humanity in the normal manner.
6) There is one vampire for every 25,000 humans.
IF YOU HAVE ONLY OWOD I CAN EASILY CONVERT IT FOR YOU. They aren't that different in rules although the fluff varies quite a bit.
