Ashes of the Empire
It's been nearly two centuries since the fall of Arthur. The once great empire of Camelot has broken into pieces with rulers who squabble and bicker, while the empire falls into ruins around them. The orcs and goblins who were hunted nearly to extinction by the empire have started to emerge from their swamps once again. The boarder towns in the south are regularly raided and without the help of the central government have been left isolated and defenseless against the attacks. You've been hired by the mayor of one such boarder town to assist in defense, but that job will unlock secrets long forgotten, reveal the secrets of Lyonesse and learn of ancient wars and dark magics.
