The Qualiln Game
The Qualiln Game. Think of Gladiator meets the Hunger Games, a game where you'll be competing against four other individuals and only one of you can win. You'll be tested mentally and physically as you'll not only be fighting your enemies but also the environment as traps, puzzles, and beast may block your way.
This is not a game of just fighting. There are many different ways to win Qualiln. Role play elements will be heavy in this game with problem solving, negotation with others, and thinking of better ways to use your environment.
Why enter yourself into The Qualiln you ask? For glory and the riches of course! There will be experience points and gold rewarded based on how you finish. In the beginning, you can not take anything into the Qualiln beside the shirt and pants you wear. No weapons, no potions, and no armor! You have to earn the right to bring these in by spending the gold you earn competing. No magic allowed.
To create a character, please send me a private link to your D&D 5e sheet noting somewhere in the subject your name, race, and class. We will keep your sheet secret from others in the game so that they may not gain an advantage on you if you happen to meet. Upon acceptance you will be assign a private thread that only you and I can access. I will describe the scene to you and you will decide what to do. If by chance you run into another player, I'll create a separate forum where you'll both play. All characters start out at LVL 1, 27 Point Buy (15 max initial score), No Items, and No Magic Users
The Object of Qualiln is to be the last one alive. If your character dies in Qualiln, he will be magically revived and will receive XP/Gold depending on what place he died in.
Awards
Last one Alive: 150 XP, 50 Gold
2nd: 100 XP, 25 Gold
3rd: 75 XP, 15 Gold
4th: 50 XP, 10 Gold
5th: 25 XP, 5 Gold
The last two players left will have automatic privilege to compete in the next round of Qualiln.
There is an established Community area in the forum where players can talk IC to other players while they're not inside the Qualiln. Please do not try to fight in this area. There is also an OOC board that you may use to speak freely. Please send your character sheets privately to me and we'll get started once I get five applicants.
