Atop the Sunspire Mountains
The early days of the Sublime Way are shrouded in mystery. In the ancient days the nine paths were split apart, but one day a young man visited the temple of the Iron Heart and learnt its secrets. From there he went to each home of the paths and learnt their techniques, until he was the master of all nine ways. Then he returned to each and took the most promising students as his own. He took them to the Sunspire Mountains where he trained them in his Temple of the Nine Swords. When their training was complete he left, giving each a sword. He told them that as long as the swords were kept together the temple would never fall. But one was stolen by a devious monster and not long after the temple fell. The swords are all lost now.
But according to what the ancient master said before leaving, as long as they are together the temple cannot fall. Therefore, should they ever be reunited, the temple may at last be rebuilt. This is the task for which you were gathered; to find and collect all nine ancient blades and retake the Sunspire Mountain. Only then can the temple be rebuilt and harmony achieved.
