Adventures on the Edge of the Empire
Hey folks. I'm returning to the world of PbP gaming after a 4 year hiatus, excited about the prospect of running a Star Wars: Edge of the Empire game. I'm looking for 4-6 players to join me who can reliably post at least once per day (occasional missed days are no big deal). Longer absences are ok, so long as you give me advanced notice.
The campaign will begin several years before the destruction of the first Death Star, during the dark times. The PCs will by a band of independent operators, each with their own agendas, travelling the galaxy exploring, trading, fighting, and otherwise engaging in the afore-mentioned Awesome Outer Space Adventure (tm).
The most important qualities that a player needs to demonstrate are a knowledge of characterization and an ability to compose interesting prose. Your submission should include your race, career, starting specialization, and obligation, as well as a snippet of prose that makes me want to read more things you write about your character. Length is not an issue. An interesting and intriguing short submission has every chance to be accepted as a well-crafted long submission.
I would like there to be at least two humans in the group, and I will not permit more than one droid character or force-sensitive character. Other races that have been published in FF materials are allowable. If there's a Star Wars race that you would like to play and hasn't been converted to this rules set, we can discuss it on a case-by-case basis. All published careers and specialization for EotE are ok.
