Game Description

From Hero to Villain....

The deeper you delve into the ancient mine, the stronger Chaos grips your soul. You are doomed, foolish hero. Doomed like the ancient dwarves who once ruled a mighty Empire.

This is a solo quest that will result in the death of your PC. Yes. That is right. You are going to die.

The Good News?

Once you die, you get to play the BBEG. ;)

This game becomes a Reverse Dungeon once a Chaos God brings you back from death to serve as a General in its Daemon Army. Then I recruit the "Standard Adventuring Party" to come kill you once I've given you a chance to start your Reign of Terror in the name of Chaos. The deeper you go, the more slaves you will have in your new life as a Chaos Champion.

Obviously, given you are delving into Chaos...the encounters and maps are completely random.

As you can tell, this game is a mashup of:
1) Reverse Dungeon
2) Way of the Wicked [ if they were summoning Nurgle. ;) ]
3) Warhammer
4) Pathfinder
5) Roguelikes

Meditations upon Mortality:

Mortals are capped at Gestalt E6.
Champions of Chaos [Post Ascenscion/Death] are capped at Gestalt E8.

So keep that in mind. You'll gain 2 Class Levels when you die. However, the deeper you delve the stronger your starting position will be [beyond the 2 levels].

Oh, and in case it wasn't obvious...you are playing a Dwarf. I don't care what mechanics [e.g. You can pick an "Elf" mechanically just fine] you pick. You are playing a Dwarf. [ Otherwise the title of this game makes no sense, eh? ]

Additionally, upon Death you'll come back "Wrong":

Terror Template

Depending on which Chaos God you surrender yourself to, you'll also start progressing down a Champion path which will slowly warp you into something twisted. Basically, your advancement post-Death is going to be out of your hands. Chaos is going to decide for you. The Good News is I won't randomly screw you over by giving you Two Weapon Fighting on a Wizard. The Bad News is I'm going to pick them based on whether I want to tune your character up or just throw in random flavor because I think you are dangerous enough. :P

I just want to be up front about this in case it makes anyone change their mind about wanting to play the BBEG.
