Task Force Tango
In 2013 organised, violent and gang-related crimes were on the rise in the United Kingdom. Looking for a way to handle the ever increasing work load while simultaneously creating little to no additional paperwork it was decided to trial a new initiative.
Task Force Tango is trial initiative that seeks to replicate the policing methods used in the USA to see if they can be transferred to the UK. Looking for a place to trial the new initiative, to different Constabularies around the country bid for the right to host the trial. Ultimately, through some incredible administration cock-up, the initiative was awarded to the predominantly rural Constabulary of Avon and Somerset. Not willing to admit the mistake, Task Force Tango was dispatched to clean up the crime in the rural West Country.
Police Cops is a 2-page, rule-lite RPG that seeks to replicate the clichés of the procedural police dramas that are ever popular. Drawing on every hackneyed troupe that we have all seen at least a thousand times before, Police Cops takes these and moulds them into something new, a tongue-in-cheek roleplaying game that follows a similar style and set-up as the shows it seeks to parody.
