Game Description

The Empire is no more.
For generations, the Empire of Sulosa has been disintegrating - Once a unique melting pot of races and cultures brought to peace by the wisdom and power of the Dragon Sulos, Her death a century past has left strife among the people but also opportunity. Whether by the dragons blood in you veins, by military might or by cunning political maneuvering you have risen to power in one of Sulosa's new nation-states.

Now you must use that power.
Defend your nation against the other nations, hungry for your resources. Arrange political moots and military campaigns to leverage for more influence. But this world is far from stagnant - Monsters and powerful entities rampage and scheme amidst the national turmoils and even the world itself seems set on becoming more dangerous for the races of men.

How it will run
Describe yourself and your nation: Every leader is unique, as is each nation. Design your leader character with all the fluff you would put into an adventurer in a normal game, as you will be interacting as that character with other players and NPCs. Physical description/personality/background etc. needs to be covered, though we can work on enriching backgrounds as the game progresses.
Create a name and national identity the same way, with as much description as you care to give as long as you answer the following questions (which I will use when designing the beginning map and assigning starting resources)
1) What type of Racial makeup does your nation have? (All races in D&D products exist, with the same sort of spread presented in standard D&D games)
2) What type of Government runs your nation? and what is your leaders title?(As long as it can be represented by a single character, anything is open)
3) What type of terrain is dominant in your nation? Options include Tundra, Scrubland, Forest, Mountainous, Desert, Jungle, Grassland, Mires, Subterranean and Archipelago - though suggestions are open, no interplanar locales at the start.
4) Which of these threats is most prevalent in your lands - Powerful Monsters (Dragonspawn etc.), Dangerous Wylds (Feywoods and the like), or Hordes (Orc/goblins/other) - These will affect the ease at which you use your resources but may also be used in military/political defense.

Once I have a group of players I will create the starting scenario and map. Then each week, players will have a set number of actions they can initiate (based on number of players). Some scenarios will have to be played out and others will self-resolve once began. Results of those actions will come in a Tuesday Update each week.
