Shadowrun 4E:Hiding in the Dark
The year is 2075. Corporations have grown into Mega corporations and now run most of the world; the world that people once knew has all but shattered. The change of power has shifted and most of the known Countries have all but disparate as with the crash of 2029 magic has returned to the world and many of the big name countries have fallen.
United States of America is has broken into substates that are controlled by the mega-corps, the Euro-Wars, and the fevers for independence of Amerindian tribes, Chinese provinces, and everything else that came with the many struggles that ravaged Europe and Asia left the world's governments tumbling and falling.
You are born into this changed world were philosophy and technology has changed drastically over the past few years. Technology has given people the power of the matrix. A shadowrunner life is not chosen by the runner but it chooses them, doing some one else dirty work isn't the life most wish to live.
Being in the shadows isn't a life fit for every one; morality will get you killed but would it be worth it? Could you live the life of a criminal and still have morals? Or will you join one of the many gangs or mafia groups. All will be told in this epic struggle of surviving this new world....lets see how long you last.
