Spring has returned to the wilds of the Savage Frontier. Though the winds carry an icy chill that hint at storms still to come, the merchants who make their coin on the roads and trails of the North grow increasingly restless after a long winter.
One such, Master Arlos Wadock, is assembling a heavily-guarded caravan and plans to leave the City of Splendors within a tenday. The man is quick to tell any within earshot that he intends to reach the town of Loudwater before the last snows have melted. Amongst your fellow hireswords and travellers, however, rumor holds that Wadock has a more easterly destination in mind...the forbidding sands of the great desert Anauroch.
