Game Description

Hello there folks, it has been suggested to me by one of my players to run this adventure path. As such, I am going to give it a go as opposed to investing time in building a dungeon of my own like I had planned. Apparently, this is a popular AP I am told? Let's see if that is true.

For those of you who aren't familiar with this AP, it is a Paizo written adventure path that comes in 6 parts. The first part, The Worldwound Incursion brings 1st level characters up to level 6 on a haunting journey through a city besieged by demonic aggressors. I am hesitant to give too much away here, as I want there to be some mystery for you folks. However, there is something for you. Why is this intro/recruit post so short with fluff and description you might ask?

This is a free e-book written by Paizo to help players get a grasp of what they are in for when joining this game. Rather than process and regurgitate what the Paizo staff has skillfully put together, I will let you sit down and go through that. Don't fix what's broke. I was surprisingly impressed with this AP, it's well written, creative and seems like it could be fun to run with a good group of players. Here's to hoping that happens!

The TL;DR of it is this: You will be a group of level 1 characters thrust into a dangerous scenario and faced with coming out of it alive against bad odds while struggling through a variety of situations along the way. You will be fighting demons and cultists, so this campaign is geared towards Good alignment people. In particular Paladins, and those of particular faiths:

Empyreal Lord Pulura) have important roles to play as well. Faith in a deity is not required, but many of the allies and resources you’ll be encountering have ties to the good deities of Golarion.
This means that for this path acting in good deeds with good characters has its rewards. Just how it's written. That being said, an aside from the DM: Facing off against demons later on and not being good yourself has its advantages. So there is that to consider here. I will be available to help folks wanting feedback on characters, so if there are questions, let me know.
