Game Description

In the heart of the world, Albion, a new king takes the throne after five years of long and bloody civil war. As young King Peter swears his oaths and dons the Crown of Five Gods, his enemies and those still loyal to his eldest brother swear their own bloody oaths and promise vengeance against the man they call the False King.

In the great eastern desert of Arah'ka, the empire of Arahn makes plans against their long time enemy. But even as the common people cry for the blood of Albion, great powers from beyond the mortal world whisper dark promises into the ears of Caliph Usul and his court. With primordial tongues, the elemental powers gather as one.

In Vellune, the land of culture, art, music, and magic, they find themselves trapped. With a new Albion to the west and a bloodthirsty Arahn to the east, the Arcane Court gathers, preparing old magics to defend their land in the coming days. And while the Court gathers power, dark forces that have lived unnoticed for generations set ancient plans in motion. For while the mages prepare for mortal foes, the Court of Sin works tirelessly to free their dread god from her eternal prison beneath this land.

In Mensk, the land of ice and graves, the undead empire finds themselves facing an unexpected enemy. An army of devils has come from Hell to war against the vampire nobility, deathknight generals, and lich mages of the eternal land. For the first time in thousands of years, Mensk faces destruction, and now they turn to the mortal races, beseeching them for aid against the infernal horde.

In the Dorian Isles to the south, city-states that have warred with each other for centuries unite in tenuous pacts against the threat of the four great kingdoms to the north.

On the great jungle continent of Mwalai, native tribes fight brutal battles against the encroaching forces of Albion, and fighting at their side is the last free Dark Lord, the Queen of Beasts.

And on the island Thorn, once home to the great Isari kingdom, now thousands of prisoners toil away, mining precious metals like gold, silver, and mithril for the very people who put them there. By day they increase the wealth and power of Albion, but by night, the revolutionary wizard Lorian Kildea turns the prisoners from men into monsters, raising an army to one day overthrow the empire that betrayed him.

But right now, the most important place in the world isn't in Albion's royal halls, or Arahn's desert temples. It isn't in the arcane circles of Vellune or in the Castle of Frost and Bone to the north. The actions of the jungle warriors and the island kings only serve to pack the powder keg of the world even further. Even the army of minotaurs and ogres is nothing in the face of what is happening in the middle of the Corinthian Ocean.

For on those waters is a prison ship, sailing towards Thorn. And that ship is the most important place in the world. Because a storm is coming. And when the ship is blown off course, history will follow in its wake.
