Serenity: San Christine
A small town in the Silver Hills region of Lilac and a remnant of the pre-Unification titanium rush, San Christine (or San Christie as it's sometimes called by the locals) supports a modest population of rural farmers and simple folk trying to make a life for themselves. The actual town is quite small, merely a speck of civilization on the countryside, but for several miles in all directions farmers and the like make the trip into town to make use of the basic amenities it provides.
Being situated along the New Canaan Run, Lilac in general and San Christie in particular are known to get visitors passing through who stop for one reason or another. A small tourism industry is made offering supplies and guides up to the dead mine, or to the nearby ghost towns. Rumors abound regarding a hidden deposit of titanium as of yet undiscovered and the fortune to be made in finding it, but whether or not there is any metal to be found is anyone's guess.
