Game Description

First off, not including Gamma World in the system list is a crime against humanity. If you're not in the know, Gamma World is one of the more unique settings out there. It is essentially Post-Apocalypse on LSD. The apocalypse is one so far gone that nobody actually knows anything about it.

Enough about that, let's talk about the story! From the book...

"Far-Go is dying... the people are afraid... the animals are wasting away... the crops are withering in the fields. No one, even Arx Skystone, the high priest, knows what has caused Far-Go's misfortune. You are part of a group of young adventurers about to begin the sacred Rite of Adulthood. The last hope of survival for Far-Go rests with your party. On your journey to the Forest of Knowledge, you must search for clues to the origin of the mysterious plague. This quest may lead you into great danger... and great knowledge. As you travel through the savage wilderness, all you have are you companions, your wits, your strength... and your dreams!!

Now you're saying, "but I don't have the rules!" And I'll say, "so what?" The rules are simple. It works much like Basic D&D. Pick a race (pure human, mutant human, mutant animal), roll your stats (yeah, you know them!), roll for random mutations.

Who can play? All comers. I'm an experienced GM and can handle large groups. A cap of eight should be good, but I'm not likely to kick a 9th to the curb. If I get more, I can always run two groups. It's not very complex. The only thing I ask for is commitment.

Some more details for characters will come once I see players lining up. No character concepts are needed or wanted. Every character starts out roughly the same. Everyone is the same age. Everyone is from Far-Go.

And if anyone is still on the fence, all I have to say is GIANT MUTANT CHICKENS!
