The Wroang Dimension
You are playing in a currently undisclosed world. This is a pilot project on a game with many concurrent players all starting out from different places and with totally diffent beliefs and motivations. As the game progresses, some parties may form, while others collapse. There will be many concurrent and sometimes contradictory objectives for the various parties, eventually culminating in an epic quest.
You may be a human from the historically accurate Earth, in 1800 A.D., or one of three other 'special' races. Please pitch a character in a private response. Write out your background and character as if describing a human, without using any reference to places. Also, indicate whether you'd be interested in playing human, humanoid, or some other type of creature. If it sounds interesting, I will advise you how close to that my universe will allow you to be (expect possible changes in species, race, gender, home world, et cetera...)
Characters stats should be based on sum of the best 3 dice in a 4d6 roll, with a re-roll if there are at least 2 ones (If you are auto-rolling for top 3, remember, if you see a 1 in one of the 3 dice it shows, re-roll that roll). All other stats are as per rule books.
