The Queen's Knights
In the Kingdom of Adairslen, the King has just died, leaving his only child, Margaret, to inherit the throne. However, no passing of a monarch is without political turbulence, and the 5 Archdukes and Archduchesses are now vying with and against each other for increased political power, viewing the young Queen as nothing more than a puppet to be manipulated to their ends.
To counter this, one of Margaret's personal Vassals has assembled a small team of trainers from across the six duchies. This team, having forsworn all political allegiances save for the Queen, will travel the Kingdom in the Queen's name. As they do so, they will become akin to the questing knights from the storybooks. Travelling the land and righting wrongs in the name of the Queen.
With this, it is hoped that the team will build support for the young and untested queen, from among all the peoples of the kingdom. You are one to be one of these knights, granted the authority to do what is needed to protect and honor your Queen and Country, whatever the situation.
