Game Description

The Siege of Morgrath

The Wall of Morgrath has stood for 1000 years as a barrier between the North, and South empires of the Dwarves. The Wall sits underground, at the Southern edge of the Dahlrang Mountains and provides a fortification preventing anything invading one empire to spill into the other. A last defense, if you will, planned by the Dwarves during the Mage Wars that left the two halve separated. One might ask why this would be relevant to a group of undead wandering around underground eking out an existence in the dark. One doesn't need to ask Nor'Bor'ul though, the little creature will be glad to tell you.

Nor'Bor'ul is a short, pale, bug eye'd Dwarf-like creature who seems to be filled with a deep passion and more than a hint of madness. He stands before you in a cavern in fine silk robes, with a glowing headband that holds his white hair straight up. His right arm seems to be nothing but bone as he points it at you, and in all confidence he won't be torn apart and eaten for his impertinence begins to berate the lot of you in a high pitched, reedy voice that cracks as he goes on.

"I am Nor'Bor'ul, Master of the Pale and Necromancer from far below and to the South. A quest has been given unto me by my lord to subjugate the empire of Toruerkral. With his divine help, I have managed to do so. Now, I am tasked to breach the Wall of Morgrath and lay siege to the empires Northern kin and lay waste to it with their own kin. Risen as my army, the Dwarves of Toruerkral shall lay siege to their own kin. If successful, we shall have the riches of the Dwarves of the Dahlrang Mountains at our disposal, and an army of loyal soldiers outfitted in fine Dwarven steel.

I am looking for those who would serve my lord, and lead in my army of undeath. Those who do shall be rewarded, and those who do not shall be enslaved and forced to do my lords bidding. Obedience will see you granted a legion of troops to send forth while I raise more Dwarves for the cause. Corpse crafting is a time consuming endeavor, and I must oversee the operation from the Obsidian mines to the far south while my generals clear out the remnants of resistance throughout this empire. To this end, I come to you, looking for new generals to start the siege while I regain my strength to the South for what is to come.

So, are you happy living in the dark, hunting Cave Troll and Chokers for your dinner? If not, come with me, and you can assist in the fall of an empire and lead legions. Which of you will serve?"
