Game Description

A long time ago in a galaxy far,
far away....

STAR WARS

It is a desperate time for the Republic as the Clone Wars seem to continue without end, leaving much of the galaxy scarred by battle and seeing an early end to many, including Jedi Masters Kenobi and Skywalker.

Now a new faction has arisen in this galactic conflict, lead by the Jedi-hunting Darth Vader and his ever growing alliance of criminals and galactic citizens who've lost faith in the Republic and Confederacy.

With the Dark Lord's capture of the Confederate battle station, the 'Death Star', and the support of the liberated Wookiees used in it's construction, Lord Vader stands poised to end this war by force and without mercy.

On the planet Karrathos, Jedi General Ahsoka Tano and her squad were pinned down by Madalorian pirates, only to find themselves the captives of their supposed saviors, Vader's 501st Legion.

Orbiting above Karrathos, you have been given orders to save the General and stop Lord Vader, at all costs.

Star Wars Infinities: Alliance of Lies

This game is set in an alternate timeline, seventeen years before the Battle of Yavin, where Anakin Skywalker did not fall to Darth Sidious' influence and was ultimately declared an enemy of the Republic, forcing him to go into hiding and then return as the mysterious warlord Darth Vader.

Your characters all begin their adventure as part of Jedi General Ahsoka Tano's forces, attempting to deal with increased hostilities from Mandalorian pirates.

The foundation for this campaign's lore includes most of the Expanded Universe/Legends that is set prior to the third season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, including retroactive events and backstory from seasons three to six.

Player Characters
Players will begin at level 5, with attribute increases from level 4 applied AFTER attributes are purchased; attributes will be purchased with 28 points for most (organic) characters or with 25 points for droid characters; and species/droids will be restricted to those common to the Rise of the Empire Era and the Clone Wars.

Characters will have both a Background (chosen by the player) and, if accepted, a Destiny (chosen with the help of the GM).

Characters will start with credits equal to the maximum starting credits for their base Heroic class, along with any bonus credits from the Wealth talent (calculated normally).

All rolls involved in acquiring licences, finding items on the black market or applying upgrades are considered to be automatically passed on the first attempt.

Bonus Credit Allowances For Starting At Level Five1) Characters gain a 20,000 'personal' allowance: which can only be spent on weapons, armor, equipment, mods and accessories. This allowance excludes any licensing, black market or upgrade costs.

2) Characters gain a 20,000 'galactic' allowance: which can only be spent on personal favors, hirelings, droids, trade goods, property, vehicles and costs from licenses/black market/upgrades.

Note: Any unspent credits from either allowance may be kept on hand or be stored elsewhere; and they may not be allocated towards any 'other' purchases during character creation.
Favors and HirelingsHaving someone owe you a favor (i.e. one-time intervention on your behalf, not to exceed one encounter) is worth about 2,000 x CL; whilst having a long-term ally (i.e. someone who will help you out any time they are available) is worth about 40,000 x CL x (% chance that they're available).

Hired non-droid NPCs, which are not the result of your character's Talents, cost 2,000 x CL to hire and then have an upkeep of 200 x CL every fortnight in-game, plus any medical expenses resulting from their employment.

With both favors and hirelings you are free to change the names of existing statblocks, as long you reference the original statblock name and location.

Posting Requirements
There will be a minimum of one post per every three days and this may increase during high action scenes. Characters who haven't acted within this timeframe will have their actions automated by the GM, inline with similar actions/background of the character from the past.

I appreciate that real life can have a huge impact of people's availability, including my own, so players should not worry about any LOA's, be they their's or mine, in relation to the long term running of this game.
